New things in the Studio: June Edition

June is here and summer is in full swing, so here's what's new in the studio!

I love the sunshine of June. Makes me really enjoy and cherish the summer days here in Toronto. Days are long, people out and about.

Folder Wallet

I love using the magsafe on the back of my iPhone to attach various accessories. But recently I was on the hunt for a new Wallet when I can across the Caseology Folder Pop.

It has rings on the back to make sure it doesnt slip when it is attached to your phone. And the color is this two tone blue that is reminiscent of the folder icon from macOS. Despite being able to accomodate up three cards, they have used a clever mechanism to ensure even if you put one card it stays secure.

Not your average record player

I recently got into records, and I wanted to find a player that I could take out when I wanted and put away with ease. If the Audio Technica Sound Burger doesn't fit the bill I don't know what will.

It comes in this very compact size that "sandwiches" your record between the halves. It comes in this awesome yellow color, supports USB-C, bluetooth 5.2 and comes with a 12 hour battery life. Stay tuned for the review on youtube coming soon.

Ready for the lonnnng weekend

In the April edition of new things in the studio, I talked about the ZV-1F. It's been a great little camera but I haven't found a good carrying pouch for it. The Long Weekend Point and Shoot Camera Pouch came to the rescue.

It's compact size still has enough space to fit a variety of point and shoot cameras. That paired with the durable materials and the retro colorway Cosmic Purple, makes it perfect for the Summer ahead.

New Retro Cube Wallpapers

If you aren't already familiar, we have a a store for digital goods that we sell called Facets. Last week we released the Retro Cubes Wallpaper.

You get 4 color cubes in the pack that work for mobile and desktop. They are usually $1.99 but if you code RETRO-CUBES you can pick it up for FREE until July 15th, 2024.

Leave no wallet behind!

I love my Airtag but I often find my wallet goes missing. That's where the Nomad Goods Tracking Card comes in.

Now there are other FindMy track cards out there from companies like Chipolo and Anker, but there is one major flaw with them: when the battery dies, you end up having to buy another. What's different about the Nomad Goods Tracking Card is that it comes with a rechargeable battery that can be used with any standard Qi wireless charger. Battery life is rated at 5 months so let's see how this goes!
