New things in the Studio: April Edition

With the warmer weather coming in April it's a great opportunity to gear up for the warmer weather. Here are some interesting finds!

I THINK SPRING IS THE PERFECT TIME to take all of that winter gear and shelve it (until next year atleast). Recently I had some items catch my interest and I wanted to share them with you!

Gear to get around

I was scouting for a well designed cross body bag when I came across the Hobson Crossbody Bag. It’s perfect to stash my keys, wallet, phone, and those little extras like sunglasses and a pocket journal.

Crafted from durable Denier Cordura and in this amazing forest green color, it features an adjustable strap and a matte waterproof zippered pouch to make sure my stuff remains dry. Perfect for when I'm out and about as the weather warms up.

Keychain upgrade

Another area I have been seeing where I need to reorganize is my keys. I have my key organizer from Orbitkey on them but it adds to the bulk when I have to go carry everything else with it. That's where WESN the QR comes in.

Made of titanium and coming at just over 1.6 inches long, the QR fits the parameters for me on what a key quick release should do and how small it should be.

Taking photos wherever, whenever

Now although the primary camera I use is the A7IV, I find it a little big for when I'm travelling. I mean who wants to really lug around a camera body + the lens. So I recently picked up a ZV-1F from Sony.

It's size makes it great for 2 reasons: 1. it's incredibly light weight and so it's perfect for when we want to grab overhead shots in the studio. 2. it's compact size makes it ideal for when I'm travelling.

Custom kicks

I've been looking for a spot in Toronto to get some custom shoes designed. And there are tons of places you can go to get this done, but a friend of mine recently recommended the Mack House.
